Full Spectrum Academy was born from the desire to fill a crucial gap in Perth’s hairdressing education. After years of educating across the city and collaborating with countless talented salon owners and creatives, I noticed a common concern: there wasn’t a consistent approach to advanced cutting education. Salon owners and stylists alike were eager for something more structured, something that could take their skills to the next level.
While we’re fortunate to have world-class guest artists visiting Perth, it wasn’t enough to truly push our craft forward. As a busy salon owner myself, working full-time behind the chair while managing a large team, I struggled to find the time and resources to plan consistent weekly education. Though spontaneous learning has its place, it didn’t provide my team with the solid foundation they needed to excel on the salon floor.

At Full Spectrum Academy, our stylist programs are created from the ground up, designed to provide hands-on, relevant education that integrates core skills with current industry trends. We aim to provide more than just a look or technique – we teach the why behind everything, enabling our students to grow their skills long after they leave the classroom.

It’s about more than just learning a new trend. My goal is to break down the cutting techniques that will grow with every stylist, equipping them with the tools to apply their learning directly to the salon floor, immediately.

At Full Spectrum Academy, we have a zero-tolerance policy when it comes to poaching. As a salon owner myself, I’ve experienced firsthand the frustration of receiving unsolicited offers through Instagram DMs, or having my team approached during educational events with “amazing opportunities. ”
This behaviour is unacceptable—both in our academy and in my salon.
I’m here to provide quality education and a safe, professional environment for every student.
Conversations that stray from educational topics are simply not welcome.
